210/365. Flying Without Wings.
I’ve been feeling that I’m post processing a lot lately. Looking at my pictures, that seems true. However, highly over-processed images have never been my aim (not that I know that much Photoshop either) but I guess getting carried away is quite easy and before you know there’s no turning back.
This made me take a conscious decision. I think I’ll be staying as true to the camera for a while as possible. When I say that, I mean no dramatically coloured shadows/highlights and overly contrasted images. Since, I’m shooting RAW now, I can’t say everything would be 100% SOOC. Well nothing is SOOC these days.
About the picture
I took this on a flight back home from Pune. The clouds looked heavenly and I had to shoot it no matter what the person next to me thought. The thick layer of clouds made taking the EXIT seat worth it. Though, I’m a huge fan of the wings (?) getting in way of the neat cloud cover sky outside.
This one is about 10% edits by adjusting the contrasts and shadows/highlights as you know RAW renders images quite flat and you have to do something about them.
I’ll be posting one more shot of the sunset shot from the airplane later this day.
