I love night photography and watching moving clouds rushing over me.

12212011 EPIC FOGBOW!
Image by StormLoverSwin93 | Into the Storm
Last night had to have been the most successful atmospheric optic photography outing in the past 2 years I’ve taken the hobby seriously! This here is just a portion (probably a good fourth) of a ghostly white with a lightly hued supernumerary bow on the inner side of the arc, of a beautiful fogbow. This fogbow was created by me turning on the highbeams on my car, walking out into the headlights and letting the lights shine on the fog down on the bottom of this hill. The entire fogbow itself was a giant halo, and you can even see my shadow and broken specter including a beautiful mock-corona-like "glory," a colored set of rings around my shadow at the end of the hill. ISO 400, 214 seconds, f/4.0 were the settings used to capture the essence 😀
